Guest Lecture on Strategic Employee Relations in the Digital Age

Madurai, September 21, 2025: RL Institute of Management Studies (RLIMS), Madurai, organized a guest lecture on “Strategic Employee Relations in the Digital Age: Balancing Technology and Human Touch in Industrial Settings” on its campus.

The distinguished guest speaker, Mr. Ponnien Selvan K, Manager – HR, TVS Sensing Solutions Private Limited, delivered an insightful session to the MBA students.

In his address, he highlighted the growing importance of balancing advanced digital tools with the human touch in industrial relations. He emphasized that while automation and technology ensure efficiency, it is empathy, trust, and long-term employee engagement that sustain organizational growth. He further underlined the role of leadership in fostering transparency, well-being, and skill development
among employees in the digital era.

The session provided students with valuable perspectives on integrating technology with human-centric approaches in employee management. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a memento presented to the guest by the faculty members.

MIC MAC MAN TALK 2025

R L Institute of Management Studies, Madurai, organized a seminar on “Circularity and Society: Pathways to a Sustainable Future” on September 18 as part of its PRME Guest Lecture Series.

The seminar commenced with Dr. D. Abraham Pradeep (Associate Professor) formally introducing the chief guest, Dr. M. Kannan, Director (Research) and Head, Department of Social Work, M.S. Chellamuthu Institute of Mental Health and Rehabilitation, Madurai.

Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Kannan emphasized the relevance of the Circular Economy for today’s younger generation, underlining the importance of both consumption and savings within a sustainable framework.

The event concluded with Dr. S. Pugalanthi (Professor), along with the faculty members, presenting a memento to the chief guest and delivering the felicitation address.

RLIMS Signs MoU with Kalaignar Centenary Library to Enhance Academic Resources

Madurai, August 20, 2025 – RL Institute of Management Studies (RLIMS), a leading business school in Madurai, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kalaignar Centenary Library, one of the largest public libraries in Tamil Nadu, to strengthen academic and research collaboration.

This partnership aims to enhance learning opportunities, provide access to a vast collection of books and digital resources, and promote research excellence among students and faculty members. Students Explore Leadership & Learning at Camp Revive, Hosur

We are proud to share that our students recently participated in an exciting and educational trip to Camp Revive, Hosur, from February 28, 2025 to March 1, 2025. This immersive experience was designed to promote teamwork, resilience, and leadership skills through various outdoor and adventure activities.

In addition to the camp experience, our students also had the privilege of attending a POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Session conducted in the Camp Revive by Ms.Vijila Jasmine. This insightful session provided valuable awareness on workplace ethics, safety, and respectful conduct, empowering students with essential knowledge for their future professional journeys.

The trip was a perfect blend of adventure and learning, leaving our students with cherished memories and important takeaways. We look forward to organizing more such enriching experiences in the future!

RLIMS Students Shine at BNI Brahmas Grand Franchise Expo 2025

Madurai, February 8 & 9, 2025 – The students of RL Institute of Management Studies (RLIMS) actively Volunteered in the BNI Brahmas Grand Franchise Expo held at Tamukkam Grounds, Madurai, demonstrating remarkable enthusiasm and commitment over the two-day event. Their involvement in the expo provided them with valuable industry exposure, networking opportunities, and real-world business insights. Thanks to Our Alumni Mr. Ganesh (MD – J.K Foods) for this wonderful oppurtunity

The event served as a platform for students to connect with industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and potential employers, opening doors for internship opportunities and corporate collaborations. Encouraging them to leverage these newfound connections, the management has urged students to explore Summer Internship and CIS-2 projects with the professionals they engaged with during the expo.

Expressing immense satisfaction with the students’ dedication, the management remarked, “These two days have undoubtedly added new learnings, contacts, and a fresh chapter to your corporate journey. We are thrilled by your commitment and look forward to seeing you seize the opportunities ahead.”
