R L Institute of Management Studies, Madurai, organized a seminar on “Circularity and Society: Pathways to a Sustainable Future” on September 18 as part of its PRME Guest Lecture Series.
The seminar commenced with Dr. D. Abraham Pradeep (Associate Professor) formally introducing the chief guest, Dr. M. Kannan, Director (Research) and Head, Department of Social Work, M.S. Chellamuthu Institute of Mental Health and Rehabilitation, Madurai.
Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Kannan emphasized the relevance of the Circular Economy for today’s younger generation, underlining the importance of both consumption and savings within a sustainable framework.
The event concluded with Dr. S. Pugalanthi (Professor), along with the faculty members, presenting a memento to the chief guest and delivering the felicitation address.
