The Career Trek programme for the MBA I Year (2026–28 Batch) of RL Institute of Management Studies (RLIMS), Madurai, has been kickstarted with the objective of enhancing students’ managerial knowledge, presentation skills, business awareness and understanding of contemporary corporate practices.
The programme provides students with an opportunity to explore various aspects of business and management through structured presentations, industry analysis and book reviews. As part of the Career Trek, students are engaged in presentations on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), enabling them to understand the relevance of sustainability and responsible business practices in today’s corporate environment.
The programme also covers company and industry analyses involving leading business organisations and sectors, along with book reviews on management and leadership concepts. These activities are designed to encourage students to analyse real-world business situations, develop critical thinking and communicate their ideas effectively.
The Career Trek is being coordinated by the faculty members of RLIMS, with guidance from Dr. Pugalanthi and Prof. Selvam. The initiative is aimed at providing MBA students with a practical and engaging learning experience beyond the conventional classroom environment.
Through this initiative, RLIMS continues to focus on developing industry-ready, socially responsible and future-ready management professionals among its MBA students.
