A special conclave on Career Opportunities in the Banking Sector was organised at R L Institute of Management Studies (RLIMS), Madurai, located on Madurai–Aruppukottai Road, in association with the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF), Mumbai.
The seminar was attended by a large number of students from various colleges in and around Madurai, providing them with valuable insights into career opportunities in the banking and financial services sector.
The programme commenced with the welcome address by Dr. M. Subramanian, Director, RLIMS. Mr. Deepak Kumar Jha, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), IIBF, delivered the special address and spoke extensively about the future growth prospects, career opportunities and professional skills required to build a successful career in the banking sector.
Mr. Vijay Kumar Jha, CDO, IIBF, highlighted the significance of IIBF certification programmes related to the banking sector and explained how these certifications can enhance students’ employability and career prospects.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Prof. Padmavathi, Vice President – Commerce, Subbalakshmi College. The seminar served as a valuable platform for students to gain a better understanding of the banking industry and explore diverse career opportunities in the sector.
